TECHNOLOGIES

We are experts in both the well established fixed foundation concept and the emerging floating technology.

We support project at every stage of its lifecycle

Fixed Foundation Offshore Wind

Over the last decade, offshore wind turbines, supported by foundation structures directly fixed to the seabed, have been used to generate renewable energy offshore, leveraging the availability of consistent high-speed wind.

Fixed bottom concepts, including monopile and jacket solutions have been the suitable option for shallow water projects up to 60 meters. The supply chain for this solution is well developed, and as such, majority of the current operational projects are based on fixed bottom foundations.

Our offshore wind offerings include technology and market insights, entry strategy and evaluation of opportunities, project development and execution support, as well as technical due diligence and risks analysis

Floating Offshore Wind

Floating offshore wind is the next frontier of the offshore wind industry. The technology enables projects to be built at offshore locations with deeper water depths, beyond the current capability of the fixed bottom solution, thereby unlocking further project opportunities in both established and emerging markets.

Unlike the fixed bottom concept, floating wind technology is still faced with challenges among which are insufficient supply chain capabilities and high levelized cost of energy when compared to other renewable energy technologies.

Our floating wind offerings include technology and market insights, supply chain analysis, entry strategy and evaluation of opportunities, project development and execution support, as well as technical due diligence and risks analysis

Offshore Green Hydrogen

Leveraging the already proven offshore wind technology, offshore wind farms hold the potential to become future hubs for green hydrogen production at scale, and as the push for hydrogen economy continues to gain popularity, the global energy industry is looking to unlock this potential for large-scale green hydrogen production.

The opportunity to integrate green hydrogen production with offshore wind project does not only support the global energy transition efforts, but also improves the project economics and business case for offshore wind projects.

We offer hydrogen market and technology insights, as well as trends and analysis to help our clients stay ahead of the curve in the emerging hydrogen economy. We also support clients’ green hydrogen business and project development
